API/QA Position
Port Arthur, TX

Location:  Port Arthur, TX 

Start Date: Late June 2024

Duration:  Long-term to mid 2026
Project schedule:  40 hours with opportunities for overtime

Pay Rate/Compensation: DOE, Fulltime Benefit Package Available 
* Local candidates to the area preferred, no per-diem available for this assignment.

Summary Statement

• Creates & leads implementation of the turnaround quality assurance (QA) execution plan. 

• Establishes QA manpower requirements to support the execution phase of the turnaround. 

• Establishes quality requirements to be used by contractors. 

• Develops surveillance plans that will be used to monitor the contractors’ performance. 

• Develops inspection test plans that will be used in the work scope plan. 

• Provides training to planning team on scope item testing requirements. 

• Audits completed scope item packages for accuracy of testing requirements. 

• Reviews contractor proposals for quality requirements & provides feedback. 

• Provides indoctrination, training, technical direction & oversight to QA support personnel. 

• Participates in the care, custody, & transfer process

Minimum requirements:  Applicant must hold a current API 510 & 570 certification and be technically
competent and knowledgeable in Quality Assurance(QA) duties.

​

Proficiency in technical report writing, using MS Word, Excel, and Power Point.

Initiative-taking with good written and verbal communication skills with a positive collaborative attitude
is required. Work with multiple groups daily on site.
